National virtual symposium-2020 To highlight the need for Peace on every level of society.

The event is being organised by Ahmadiyya Muslim Community of Australia, one of the oldest Muslim organisations in Australia.

We are going through troublesome times, there has never been a greater need for peace, both internally and externally. His Holiness, the supreme head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, has warned the world that we are heading towards a path of conflict and a world war. The event wishes to highlight the need for Peace on every level of society. Understanding that global peace does not have to be a dream but can be a reality. Understanding that Global peace starts with us, the individual. It starts from our homes, to our suburbs, to our society and country. Ahmadiyya Muslim Community under the leadership of His Holiness is at the forefront of organising such event nationally and globally. In Australia this is the first time we are organising a national virtual symposium. In attendance will be state and federal MP's from across Australia. The Ahmadiyya Muslim Association is organising this Peace Symposium in line with a strong tradition dating back decades. Not only are similar events held in Australia but the world over.

The purpose of this event is to bridge the gap between communities and have a stage for dialogue. To share the similarities we often forget to reach the end goal for all people's of religion: Peace.

We want to give people a platform to start a dialogue, be respectful towards each other and work with each other to create a harmonious society.

This is not the first time an event like this is being organised. The Ahmadiyya Muslim Association has a strong history of organising such events annually, not only in Australia but all around the world.
